Happy Myo ("we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect when you visit happymyo.com (the "Site") or contact us, how we use it, and the choices you have. Happy Myo is the orofacial myofunctional therapy, Buteyko breathing, and sleep coaching practice of Julia Yarovoy, serving clients in Manhattan, the San Francisco Bay Area, and worldwide by video.
We keep data collection to a minimum. We do not sell your personal information, we do not run advertising, and the only analytics we use is privacy-friendly and cookieless.
Information we collect
Information you give us. When you fill out our contact form or email us, we collect the information you choose to provide. This is typically your name and email address, along with anything you write in your message. Because we help with health-related concerns, your message may include details about your health or your child's health if you decide to share them. Sharing that information is your choice, and you only need to tell us enough to start a conversation.
Information collected automatically. Our host, Netlify, may log basic technical information such as your IP address and browser type as part of normal server operation and security. We also use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand overall site traffic and speed. It is cookieless, does not track you across sites, and does not collect personal information; it reports only aggregate figures such as page views, referrers, and page performance. We do not use any of this to identify you personally.
How we use your information
We use the information you provide to:
- respond to your inquiry and answer your questions,
- arrange and provide our services if you become a client,
- follow up about a consultation you requested.
We will only contact you about your inquiry or our services. We will not add you to marketing lists without your consent.
How your information is shared
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share it only in these limited situations:
- Service providers. We use Netlify to host the Site and to receive and store contact form submissions, which are then emailed to us. We use Cloudflare for domain routing and privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics. We use Google Maps to display our location on the contact page. These providers process data under their own privacy policies.
- Legal reasons. We may disclose information if required by law, for example to comply with a subpoena or court order, or to protect the safety of others.
Cookies
This Site does not set its own tracking or analytics cookies. The Google Maps embed on our contact page may set cookies or collect data when it loads, under Google's privacy policy. You can set your browser to refuse cookies, though the map may not display correctly if you do.
Health information
We handle any health information you share with care and treat it as confidential. Please keep in mind that our website contact form and ordinary email are not fully secure or encrypted channels. We recommend that you do not send detailed medical history or sensitive personal information through the form. If you become a client, we gather your health history with you directly during your consultation rather than through an online form on this Site, and we keep those records confidential and use them only to provide your care, in line with our professional and legal obligations.
How long we keep your information
We keep contact inquiries for as long as needed to respond to you and, if you become a client, to provide our services and keep appropriate records. You can ask us to delete your information at any time. Some information may remain in routine backups for a limited period after deletion.
Your rights and choices
You may ask us to:
- access the personal information we hold about you,
- correct information that is inaccurate,
- delete your information,
- stop contacting you.

Some of our services are for children, but those arrangements are made with a parent or guardian. This Site is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information online from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information through the Site, please contact us and we will delete it.

We take reasonable measures to protect the information we hold. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
